Budget Summary and Highlights


In his Autumn Budget, made on Wednesday 27 October 2021, the Chancellor pledged a "new economy" and a £150billion spending rise. He announced there would be tax cuts for businesses and a change to alcohol duty. However the planned fuel duty rise has now be cancelled.
