About the Role

As a Senior Digital Accountant / Digital Accounting Manager, you'll help lead and develop our digital accounting services.
 
You'll have a real opportunity to help shape an important and growing area of the firm. Digital accounting is no longer an add-on. It is becoming part of normal client service, and we want someone who can help us keep moving forward in a practical and client-focused way.
 
We are looking for someone who can help clients move to better digital systems, support our internal teams, and bring a practical, calm and commercial approach to change.
 
This is not just a bookkeeping support role. We need someone who understands accounts, client records, deadlines, VAT, management information and how to turn software into something genuinely useful for clients.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting clients with Xero, Dext, Fathom, QuickBooks and app-based accounting systems
  • Managing or assisting with client conversions from older systems, spreadsheets or manual records
  • Helping clients improve bookkeeping processes, document capture and reporting
  • Supporting Making Tax Digital readiness and digital record-keeping
  • Working with Directors and Managers on digital advisory opportunities
  • Helping train and support staff internally
  • Liaising with software providers and keeping the firm aware of key product changes
  • Developing consistent processes, guidance notes and internal best practice for digital accounting work
  • Supporting clients to make better use of management information and reporting tools

About You

You’ll be a great fit if you:
  • Have Experience in an accountancy practice environment
  • Possess strong working knowledge of Xero
  • Are experienced in accounts, bookkeeping, management accounts or client advisory work
  • Can Confidently speak to clients and explain systems clearly
  • Have a practical understanding of accounts preparation and client records
  • Are interested in Making Tax Digital, AI, automation and digital workflows
  • Pride yourself on good organisation and follow-through

About the Role

As a Junior Digital Accountant / Digital Accounts Assistant, you’ll support our growing digital accounting team.
 
Enjoying technology, accounting systems and helping clients get better organised, you do not need to know everything on day one, but you do need to be accurate, curious, practical and willing to learn.
 
Accounting is changing quickly. More clients are moving to online accounting systems, Making Tax Digital is increasing the need for better digital records, and tools such as Xero, QuickBooks, Dext and Fathom are becoming a normal part of how good accounting work is delivered. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in modern accountancy and be part of that change.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Helping clients move onto Xero, QuickBooks, Dext and related apps
  • Supporting software setup and client onboarding
  • Assisting with bookkeeping tidy-ups and data checks
  • Helping maintain bank feeds, bank rules and document capture processes
  • Supporting senior team members with Making Tax Digital and digital accounting projects and developing your knowledge as you go
  • Preparing simple guidance notes and helping clients with basic queries
  • Working with accounts teams to improve the quality of client records
  • Helping clients and colleagues make better use of online accounting tools
  • Supporting general digital accounting administration and project work

As an Audit & Accounts Senior Manager, you’ll work closely with the Directors, delivering high‑quality audit, accounts and tax services to corporate groups, owner‑managed businesses, private individuals and not‑for‑profit organisations.

  • Leading and reviewing complex audit assignments across a diverse client base.

About the Role

As a Tax Manager you’ll deliver high‑quality tax planning and advisory services and complex returns to corporate groups, owner‑managed businesses, private individuals and not‑for‑profit organisations.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Preparing, reviewing and submitting complex tax returns (Corporation Tax, VAT, and personal taxes) to ensure everything is legally airtight.
  • Advising on tax matters to a wide range of clients
  • Assisting high-net-worth individuals with inheritance tax planning, trusts, and estate structuring.
  • Liaising and negotiating directly with HMRC on behalf of clients, particularly during complex tax investigations.

About the Role

As a Graduate Trainee Tax Assistant (CIOT) you’ll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of tax clients from owner-managed businesses to specialist sectors such as healthcare and not-for-profit organisations. Supported by your manager, a dedicated buddy, and our structured onboarding process, you’ll quickly develop confidence and capability in your role.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a training role, so you’ll get support — but you’ll also be doing real work from day one.
1) Tax compliance (the essentials)
  • Supporting the preparation of tax returns and related compliance tasks (with review and training).
  • Collecting and organising client information, keeping records complete and consistent.
  • Learning how deadlines, checklists and review processes work in practice.
2) MTD & digital tax workflow
  • Helping clients and the team work with digital records and MTD-related processes.
  • Using and improving templates/checklists so work is consistent and efficient.
  • Spotting gaps in client data early to avoid January chaos.
3) AI & IT in a practical way
  • Using AI tools to support drafting, summarising, and sense-checking with human review .
  • Helping improve the way we use technology across the tax workflow.
  • Getting involved in small internal “process improvement” projects.
